Bank statement PDFs into Google Sheets, checked against the balance

StatementSheet reads the text in a bank or credit card statement PDF and writes each transaction as a row: Date, Description, Amount, Debit, Credit, Balance and an empty Category column for you to fill.

• Checked, not guessed. Every statement is reconciled: opening balance plus transactions must equal the closing balance. You see Balanced, Off by $X, or Can't verify before you rely on it.
• Your PDF stays in your browser. The file is read on your computer. It is never uploaded to us or to any AI service. Only the rows go into your own spreadsheet.
• Honest failures. If a file can't be read you get the exact reason (for example "this is a scanned image"). Failures never use up your free statements, and we don't show an upgrade offer when something fails.
• Re-import safely. Importing the same statement twice is caught, and merging several statements into one tab skips rows that are already there.

What it does not do (yet)

Scanned or photographed statements (image-only PDFs) are not supported. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first. Statements that mix several accounts are flagged for review. Accuracy depends on the bank's layout; always check the verdict.
