Terms of service
Draft, not yet in effect.
These terms cover your use of the StatementSheet add-on for Google Sheets ("StatementSheet") made by Orvix ("we"). By installing or using StatementSheet you agree to them.
1. The service
StatementSheet converts text-based bank and credit card statement PDFs into rows in a Google Sheet and checks them against the statement's balances. It does not support scanned or image-only PDFs.
2. Check your results
StatementSheet shows a balance check for every statement, but layouts vary and it can make mistakes. You are responsible for checking the output before you rely on it, especially when the check says "Off by" or "Can't verify". StatementSheet is a data-entry tool. It is not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice.
3. Free plan
The free plan includes 2 successfully converted, balanced statements per Google account per calendar month. Statements that fail, are not balanced, or add no new rows do not count.
4. Paid plans and billing
- Monthly: US$9 per month, billed every month. Yearly: US$59 per year, billed once a year, only if you choose it. Prices exclude any tax shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We will not move you from monthly to yearly.
- Cancel any time in one click from "Manage or cancel" in the add-on or from the Stripe billing link in your receipt email. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Yearly plans: Stripe emails you a reminder before the renewal date.
- Refunds: within 14 days of any charge you may ask for a full refund of that charge by email, no questions asked. A refunded plan stops working.
- If we change prices we will tell you by email at least 30 days before your next renewal, and the change applies only from that renewal.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attack, overload, reverse-engineer the licence system of, or resell StatementSheet, or use it to break the law or Google's terms. Only import statements you are entitled to use.
6. No warranty
StatementSheet is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
7. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about StatementSheet is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data, wrong figures you relied on, or lost profits. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
8. Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. If you keep using StatementSheet after that, the new terms apply.
